Dennis "Mike" Michael Redmond

It is with great sadness that the family of Dennis "Mike" Michael Redmond announces his passing after a brief infection on February 21, 2025 at the age of 72. Mike was born on June 17, 1952 in Charleston, Illinois to Virginia Mae Murphin: birth place: Charleston, IL {deceased} and James Edward Redmond: birth place Washington, DC {deceased}.

Mike served in the Army from 1977 to 1980. He was stationed in Germany, was an airplane mechanic and achieved the rank of SP4. After he came home, Mike started to take square dance lessons and that is where he met his future wife, Delmira Lynn Lendt. They were married on Aug 27, 1983 and shared 40 years of marriage together. Mike had a good life and he was always busy with hobbies & working on miscellaneous projects. Mike worked for an appliance resale store as a delivery person and he graduated from Trojan High School in Paradise Valley.

Mike is survived by 3 children: Jonathon Michael, Brandon Lee and Alishia Marie; 5 grandchildren: Markanthony, Rosemary, Valentina, Alexander and Julius; his son in law: Horacio; brother: Danny and 3 sisters: Selma, Mary and Linda; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bob.

Visitation hours will be held on March 5, 2025 from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E Greenway Road., Phoenix, AZ 85022. Following at 1:00 pm, a Cemetery Committal Service with Military Honors with be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
