Diana Doughtie McCarthy, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on October 30, 2024 at the age of 84 years. Diana was born on July 5, 1940 in Corpus Christi, Texas, the daughter of John Andrew and Charlotte (Lindsey) Doughtie. In 1964, Diana moved to Arizona. She spent most of her life taking care of children - her own, babysitting neighbors' children, and later, at The Family School. Diana will be missed by all her family and friends.
Diana is survived by her four children Lynne Roberts of Phoenix, Teresa McCarthy of Tempe, Kenneth Wayne Hardy, Jr. of Gilbert, and Michael McCarthy of Glendale, her seven grandchildren: Joe, Terrance, Allison, Jerron, Alexis, Devin and Ciara, her three great grandchildren: Layla, Amarra, and Jerriah.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 12:00pm at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027. Reception to follow after the service.
