Pherson, Donald L, age 87 passed away on Nov. 10, 2013. He was born in Indiana to Otto and Edna Pherson. Came to Phoenix in 1946 and later became President and part owner of Valley Stationers for twenty-six years. Was a former member of EAGP Business Associates Club. Loved to play golf. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty Jean; son Rob (Catherine); granddaughters Jessica (Paul), Mallory (John); three great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Mary (Louie) and niece Sheri. He was preceded in death by son, Brian Pherson. A very kind, loving man who will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Ryan House, Hospice of the Valley, 110 W. Merrell St.; Phoenix, AZ 85013. A memorial service will be held at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd.; Phoenix on Thursday, November 21st at 1:00 PM.
