Don found peace on May 8, 2014 after a long battle with melanoma cancer. He was born in Buffalo, New York on September 14, 1934 to Edward and Cecilia Prusakowski (both deceased) where he resided until 1957. After serving in the army and marrying his childhood sweetheart, together they moved to Phoenix. He was a wonderful salesperson and started ALL Lighting Products, which his son Chris expanded into a thriving company. Don was president of the Bola Tie Society of Arizona for many years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sylvia; his son Chris, daughter-in-law Annie; grandson Nikolai; bother Paul (Mary Ann, deceased); brother-in-law David Mazurek (Arlene); many special nieces and nephews and their children.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 17, at 11 am at A. L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W Bethany Home Rd, Phoenix, AZ.
