Dora Samora, 85, beloved mother, nana, and great grandmother passed away on September 9, 2021. She was born on August 15, 1936 in Peoria, AZ. Dora worked for Grubers in Glendale, AZ for 30 plus years. Dora loved her family. We will miss her, but we know she is in a better place. Dora is survived by her two daughters + son-in-laws: Susie (Richard) Delgado, Sonya (Leonard) Vasquez, and three sons + daughter-in-laws: David (Alma) Samora, Jackie (Alicia) Samora, and Alex Samora, her two sisters, Margaret Fierros, and Mary Medina, one brother, Bobby Cubedo, 11 grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Dora will be held Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Greer-Wilson Chapel, 5921 West Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85033. A graveside service will occur Friday, September 24, 2021 from 10:00 AM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301. A reception will be held followed by the graveside service at Estrella Vista Reception Center and Pavilion, 1471 N Eliseo Felix Jr Way, Avondale, AZ 85323, lunch will be provided by the family.
