Doris had 5 sisters and 7 brothers. She grew up on a farm in Lake Ronkonkoma, New York. She received her Associates Degree as an x-ray technician. Doris met her future husband, Richard Bonhote, in high school in the 1950’s. They got engaged on Christmas Day 1954. They married soon after in August 1955. She settled in as a wife and became a mother to 4 children, Roland, Michelle, Matthew, and Andre. The family moved to Rhode Island when Michelle was just 6 months old. Doris and Richard became very active in their church and family activities. Due to Richard’s health the family had to move to Phoenix, Arizona in 1972. While in Phoenix, Doris and family quickly found a new church family filled with friends. She was an active choir member and wedding coordinator at her church. She also worked at a wedding boutique shop. She loved to travel, visiting her family in New York and Alaska.
Doris is survived by her brothers Mulford, Sydney and Larry Williams; sister Grace Pitcher; children Roland Bonhote, Michelle Patty(Mike), and Matthew Bonhote(Heather); grandchildren Melissa Rariden, Michael Patty Jr, Matthew Patty(Cinnamon), Kailee Bonhote, and McKenna Bonhote; great grandchildren Samantha, Wesley, and Leah Rariden; Matthew Jr and Claire Patty and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard and beloved son Andre.

Service will be Saturday September 15, 2018 at 1:00pm at Bethany Bible Church 6060 N. 7th Avenue Phoenix, AZ 85013.
