Pat was born in Wheeling, WV on May 30th, 1936, to Orville and Gertrude Koehler. Her older brother Dick was "sometimes" thrilled to have a baby sister. At Triadelphia High, Pat met Gordon, the man she would ultimately spend the rest of her life with.
Pat and her cousin Marion moved to Phoenix, AZ, shortly after graduating from high school. Later, Gordon would join them after serving his country in the US Air Force. They were married in Phoenix and eventually blessed with three sons, Mark, Scott and Brad. Pat worked for Canyon Records for a short time. Her joy in life became being a full-time wife, mother, grandmother, and eventually great-grandmother. Pat had a lifelong group of close friends: Mary and Don Sells, Marion and Len Riser, and Jack and Roxane Kunz, who meant the world to her.
Pat was always there for her friends and anyone who needed an ear, prayer, or to be a help and comfort to all in need. Although she spent time wrangling her boys, she made time to lead a group in Bible Study Fellowship and was an active participant at Bethany Bible Church. Pat had a joy about her that resonated the love of Jesus and a wonderful sense of humor. She also enjoyed playing bridge and traveling with friends and family.
Pat is survived by sons, Mark (Lynn), and Scott; grandchildren, Brock (Cody), Chelsea (Billy) O'Connell, and Paige (Derek) Gunn, along with seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother Dick, sister-in-law Anna Mae, her very special niece Lisa (Steave) Kantarowski, along with life-long friend Roxane. Pat is pre-deceased by her husband Gordon, son Brad, and cousin Marion.
