Doris Lucille Wilson, 86, passed away at her home in Phoenix, AZ on August 24, 2013. Doris was born in Topeka, KS on December 1, 1926 to Paul and Ruth (Pears) Wilson. She was married to Kenneth Mailen, Ralph Howell and Melvin Cropper. They all divorced. She is survived by her four children, Edward (Sherrie) Mailen, Tucson, AZ, Richard Mailen, Phoenix, AZ, Sonya (Michael Thomas) Howell, Glendale, AZ and Linda Meyer, Topeka, KS; five grandsons, Kenneth Mailen, Tucson, AZ, Bradley Mailen, Topeka, KS, Dion Mailen, Topeka, KS, Brian Meyer, Dayton, Ohio and Gary Benson, California; seven great grandchildren; her sister Bernice Vaughn of Topeka, KS . She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ronald and Lewis Wilson and her sister Barbara (Wilson) Tierney. She attended Topeka schools. She was cremated. Private services will be held in the future and her ashes will be buried at Topeka Memorial Park.
