Dorothy (Dot) H. Stimpson, 93, of Phoenix, AZ passed away of natural causes on December 12, 2011. She was born September 10, 1918 in Syracuse, NY to Mr. & Mrs Albert P. Haney. She was one of three children. Dot held at BA degree and had studied to be a Librarian. She married Douglas F. Stimpson and worked primarily as a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husband. She leaves behind her nephew and his wife, Mr. & Mrs. Anthony Beck, good friend, John Gannaway, and her cat, Ranger. Dot will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. A memorial service will be held at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. in Phoenix on Tuesday, December 20th at 10:00 AM. Chaplain Sandy Anthony will officiate. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Morris Foundation, Hospice of the Valley or the Humane Society.
