Lord and family came first in Dottie’s life and she spread her love of Christ with everyone she met. She loved flowers – the more colorful – the better…and she shared her love for cooking & baking at every family gathering. She had a flair for bringing the “life” to the “party”, always upbeat and ready for “hugs”. Dottie was a self-professed “people watcher & greeter” and always asked people their names, claiming if she knew their names – they were no longer “strangers”. Witnessing to people came easy to Dottie and she was witnessing right up to her journey home. Dottie enjoyed passing time with her family by playing card and board games and hosting bible study classes. Chuck and Dottie have been active members of North Phoenix Baptist Church for the last 4 decades and Dottie was a guiding force in organizing the Greeter’s Department at the church. She loved calling church members to sing Happy Birthday on their special day. A little bit of Heaven has left this earth, but what a wonderful “footprint” Dottie left for her family and friends to celebrate and follow…and, in closing, as Dottie would say, “Know you are loved…”.
