

Earl L. Lowry, passed away on July 10th at the age of 85. He was born in Guide Rock, Nebraska on December 23, 1929 to the parents of Raymond and Helen Lowry and was proceeded in death by two sister, Betty and Evelyn. He is survived by his wife Ruby of 63 years, and one niece Patsy Proconier, daughter Sherri (Tom) Hemmer, son Randy (Celia) Lowry, and six grandsons, Scott (Krista) Besst, Kenny Besst, Chris Hemmer, Jason (Janice) Lowry, Brian (Kalynn) Lowry, and Michael Lowry.
Earl moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1940 where he met the love of his life, Ruby. He attended Murphy Elementary School and Phoenix Union High School. At the age of 21 he was initiated in the Phoenix BPOE Elks Lodge 335 where he has proudly been a lifetime member. Earl was also an associate member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #2 since 1955. He worked for several car dealerships until opening up his own business which included three automobile mechanic shops.
In retirement years he loved traveling, RV-ing to all 50 states and spent many years fishing in Cholla Bay, Mexico and many summers in Flagstaff, Arizona enjoying the beautiful summer weather and doing a little fishing. Earl loved family, especially his six grandsons and always enjoyed being with them and watching them play in various sports.
He will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends. May you rest in peace and the way Earl would say it, "Easing into it."
