Ellen passed away with her children by her side on February 16, 2017. She was born on January 28, 1925 in Phoenix, Arizona where she lived all her life.
Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L Sorey, her daughter, Peggy A Sorey & her grandson Joshua D Shimel. She is survived by her son Patrick M Sorey, daughters, Kathy M Baum & Dorothy (Dee) Cantrell, 9 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren & 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Ellen was a wonderful Daughter, Wife, Mom, Grandma, Sister & Aunt, she will be dearly missed. She was a fantastic artist in both painting and pottery. Words cannot express the joy we had to have her in our lives or the sorrow we have in losing her. Memories of her and her stories will live on forever in our hearts.
