Emmitt Kane Dunn

Emmitt Kane Dunn, age 22, passed away on March 10, 2017 in San Clemente, California. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri. In 2002 Emmitt moved with his family to Arizona, where he grew up and graduated from Paradise Valley High School. While growing up, he made his first visit to the ocean in California. It held a great fascination for him. He ran and ran along the beach oblivious to the rest of the world. That experience, in part, drew him to California in 2016. Emmitt was also passionate about the culinary arts and was enthusiastic about learning to prepare and enjoy food. He also enjoyed sharing and conversing about culinary experiences. Always ready to help others, his friendships were another passion that filled his life. Emmitt is survived by his parents Michael and Jeannie Dunn, his brother Raymond Dunn and his Grandparents – Carolyn and Bill Barbour, and Colleen Murphy. His life will be celebrated with a memorial service Saturday, March 25, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022.
