89, of Chandler, Arizona has joined his beloved wife, Viola Gastluma Ramirez in Heaven. He honorably served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Ernest is survived by his two brothers, Willie and Johnny Ramirez; and his great great nieces, Sabrina Rosas and Nina Grijalva. He has been in the care of great-nephew and wife, Robert and Tina Mendoza, for the past 2 1/2 months of his life. A loving brother, husband, father, and grandfather; with a heart of gold, always smiling until the day he passed. You will be forever missed. A Funeral Mass, in Ernest's honor, will be held at Saints Simon and Jude Cathedral 6351 N. 27th Ave. Phoenix on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 10 a.m. followed by a 1 p.m. Graveside Service at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. Phoenix.
