86, of Peoria, AZ passed away on December 25, 2011. Evelyn was born on March 18, 1925 to Prince Henry and Fay Harris in Okmulgee, OK. Evelyn retired from Goodyear Aerospace in Goodyear, AZ where she helped construct the Goodyear Blimps, many of the balloons seen in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and numerous components of the space and defense programs. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church Garden Lakes and she enjoyed crafts and helping her friends. Evelyn was preceded in death by her two sons Frank and Fred, and sister Cybil. She is survived by her brother Kenneth, two grandchildren Fred Jr. and Christina, and three great grandsons Jamie, Camden, and Chace. At Evelyn’s request, no memorial service will be held.
