Florence E. Cook, 93 of Phoenix, passed away on February 21, 2014. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Wayne. She is survived by her nephew George Dunham (Sharon), niece Aileen Emmert (Donald), grand niece Amanda (Blake), great grand-niece Caroline and grand-nephews Logan and Holden. Florence was a member of Eastern Star for more than 60 years and held several offices including Grand Matron. Florence was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church in Phoenix. She was also a member of Motor Maids women’s motorcycling club and enjoyed dancing and competition shooting. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th from 10 AM to 11 AM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E Greenway Rd., Phoenix. Services will follow at the Chapel at 11 AM. Donations in her memory can be made to Grand Chapter of Arizona Order of the Eastern Star Scholarship fund.
