Gary K. Wong was born on January 24, 1953 in Phoenix, AZ. He attended the Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind in Tucson where he met his companion of 27 years, Shirley Schurz. Gary was employed and retired from the Phoenix Union High School District where he was an Apprentice. He is survived by girlfriend Shirley, his father Jin Wong, brothers Edward (Julie), Howard (Charlene), nieces and nephews Janelle, Eric, Lindsay and Tyler. Gary passed away on August 28, 2014 after a courageous 20 month battle with cancer.
