George T. Dunn 85 years old of Glendale, AZ born 2/18/1928 died 9/1/2013. Originally from Dunnstable, MA he moved here in June of 1965. He worked in the Aerospace industry for over 30 years with Goodyear Aerospace and Loral. Achieved Distinguished Toastmaster and was area governor for Toastmaster’s International. He also taught US citizenship classes, and adult education classes through Rio Salado Community College. He is also a published author of the book “Roman Catholic Church Versus 2nd Vatican Council Reformation.” George is survived by sons Gary J. Dunn, Thomas G. Dunn, daughters Katherine T. Dunn, and Elizabeth A. Dunn. Daughter-in-laws Vickie Dunn, Becky Dunn and 4 grandchildren Nathan, Leanne, Anthony and Kristopher. There is extended family in MA, and AZ. George was predeceased by his wife Grace R. Dunn, parents George T. Dunn SR and Catherine Dunn, and sisters Gloria Cabana, and Eleanor Udot.
His visitation will be on Saturday, September 7th at Advantage Maryvale Mortuary Chapel 6901 W. Indian School Rd. Phoenix from 5-8PM with Funeral Mass being held again at Maryvale on Monday, September 9th at 10AM. Interment with Military Honors will be held at W. Resthaven Cemetery in Glendale, Az.
