died peacefully January 16, 2014, at the age of 94. He was born in Mason City, Iowa and moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1962. He is survived by his four children: Garrett, Tim, Patty, and Tom. His 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren will also remember him. Jerry served in World War II as a front line medic and received two Purple Hearts, the Distinguished Unit Badge, the American Defense Service Ribbon and the Philippines Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze Star. He will be welcomed to Heaven by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary, and daughter, Letty, among other family and friends. We will all miss his joyful spirit and amazing stories.
