Gregory William Vodika, died suddenly on October 6, 2014, while riding his motorcycle, something he loved to do. He was born in Scottsdale on February 24, 1986; a second generation AZ native. Greg worked at European Detail, with Perry Dodd, who he looked up to like a second father. Greg had a high energy personality, often running around the office or home, instead of walking. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He loved to laugh and bring laughter to others, sometimes burping very loudly to share a laugh. He will also be remembered as a person who treated others with respect, polite in his demeanor and going out of his way to help people he saw in need. In addition to his family, Greg’s top passions include UFC, body building and physical fitness, and riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his dad and step mom, Mike and Lorrie Vodika; his mother Deborah Vodika; his sister Christina Vodika; his grandparents; David and Patricia Vodika, and Lee Mazza; his daughter, Shura Suyunova and his wife Larisa Suyunova. Greg’s life will be celebrated during a visitation, Sunday, 4-8pm at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85022 and Funeral Mass Monday, 10am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3801 E. Greenway Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85032; burial and graveside service follow at Phoenix Memorial Park.
