

On Monday, January 21st, 2019, Harold R. Halman III, son, brother, husband and father passed away suddenly of an illness at the young age of 59. Harold leaves behind his wife Lisa, their two daughters Ashley and Savanna, his brother Derek, his niece and nephews Derek Halman II, Leonardo Catania, Jenna Catania and his mother-in-law Betty Pactwa. Harold will also be remembered forever by his extended family as well as the numerous young men he has coached over the years. Harold has joined his parents Irene and Harold Halman Jr. and his father-in-law Jerry in Heaven. Harold was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Glendale Heights where he discovered his love for baseball. Harold played ball at Indiana University where he was granted a full scholarship. Harold graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Economics at Illinois Benedictine University. Harold met his wife Lisa in 1991. Shortly after they got married, they had their two daughters Ashley and Savanna. They found a permanent home in Anthem, Arizona in 2002. It was there that Harold was able to dedicate more time on the baseball fields as a coach. Being a coach and life mentor to young baseball players quickly became his true passion in life.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 2nd at 1pm at the Cross of Christ Church in Anthem, Arizona. We ask for those wishing to donate flowers to instead donate to the American Cancer Society of America or your charity of choice.
