James had a deep appreciation for music and creativity, leaving behind not only a collection of instruments and records, but a legacy of passion and expression that will continue to resonate with those who knew him. He had a unique ability to connect with people, especially in moments when they needed it most, offering warmth and understanding.
He is survived by his daughter, Adrienne Amick; his mother, Kathleen Barker; and his brother, John Barker.
