On June 14, 1968, James married his high school sweetheart Diana L. (Oskerson) Davis and he was her beloved husband for over 40 years until her passing on February 22, 2009.
James is the father of Deborah Davis, David Davis and Dawna Thomas (John).
James is survived by his sisters Arley Prevo (James) and Davene Davis plus many more grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
James loved to bargain hunt at stopped at pretty much any yard sale and/or thrift store. He loved talking about his high school days and telling stories of his many adventures. He had a fascination with older fast cars and in the past several years was excited to brag about the cars that he was buying.
A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, April 19th. Viewing will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at 2413 - Greenwood/Memory Lawn Serenity Chapel, 719 North 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009, followed by a service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
