James Kendall Friel 83 of Phoenix Arizona passed away on December 4th 2010 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 11, 1926 in North Arlington, New Jersey. He is survived by his wife Jean; his children Dennis Friel, Doreen Reinke, David Friel and stepchildren Robert Miller, Julie Miller and William Miller, 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, Jim worked in the construction industry in project management and as an executive developing residential and commercial properties all over the United States. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1947. In New Jersey he served on the Boy Scouts Council and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Services will be held on December 9th at 11:00AM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E Greenway Rd. Phoenix, Arizona. Interment will follow at St Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N 48th St., Phoenix.
