Janet Marie Luning, of Phoenix, Arizona and Elizabeth, Illinois passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 in Phoenix at the age of 80. Janet was born on April 30, 1943 in Freeport, Illinois, the daughter of Wallie and Marcella (Blair) Roberts.
Janet and her husband, Glen were Caretakers for many years. They owned and operated several Care Homes for the Elderly in both Phoenix and Fort Stockton, Texas.
Janet is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Glen Albert Luning; her children Sandra Burley and Gary (Renette); her grandchildren Susan, Robert, Nicole (Adam), and Krystalyn; her great grandchildren Leo and Ezra; as well as her sister-in-law Karen (Duane) Schubert; and her brother-in-law James (Donna) Luning.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 10:00am to 11:00am with the Funeral Service to follow at 11:00am at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
