Jason Paul Gowens, 41, of Prescott Valley, Arizona, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012, in Black Canyon City, Arizona. Jason was born July 8, 1971 in Phoenix, Arizona to Johnnie and Judy Gowens. He was the devoted husband of Misty Gowens and the proud father of Joshua and Dustin. His sister Jodie Gowens and step-father Mike Sommers were each very influential in his life, as were many others in both his immediate and extended families. Friendships were an important part of his life, for this reason he had many who loved and cared for him and will miss him greatly. Memorial Services will be Thursday, August 23, 2012, Noon, at Calvary Church, 12612 North Black Canyon Highway, Phoenix, Arizona 85029. The Gowens Family has entrusted Phoenix Memorial Mortuary of services.
