Jesus Rubio Corral

Jesus Rubio Corral passed away on April 5, 2024. He was born on February 5, 1944, he celebrated his 80th birthday with his family by his side. He was born in Nonoava, Chihuahua to the late Andres and Aurora Rubio.

Jesus was married to Margarita Rubio for over 22 years until her passing in 1994. He is also preceded in death by his twin sons Paul & Peter Rubio, Mercedes Martinez, Jr., and daughter Maria Martinez.

He is survived by his daughters Jessica Rubio - Sanchez (Juan Carlos), Angie Renteria, Lupe Franks, and Beatriz Esquivel (Richard), his sister Guadalupe, and his brother Pablo Rubio. He had 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces & nephews, family, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Starting at the young age of 16, he became a mariachi and played many instruments including the trumpet and guitar. He played with several Mariachi groups throughout Phoenix, Arizona. He was a simple but intelligent man with many stories of his younger days and travels. Nevertheless, he was a very caring and generous man and loved his family very much.

Family and friends are invited to the Memorial Service on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Funeraria del Angel Greer-Wilson Chapel, 5921 West Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ 85033 at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The burial will follow at West Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, AZ 85301 at 1:00 p.m.
