John "Jack" Joseph Crosson, age 81, of Phoenix formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. He was born on August 30, 1939 to the late Hugh Richard and Gertrude Harriett (Fullerton) Crosson in Philadelphia, PA. Jack attended Northeast Catholic High School for Boys graduating class of 1958. In 1962, he enlisted in the United States Army where he served our country over 32 years retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1999. On April 20, 1963, he married Sandee Brett in Philadelphia, PA. Jack also served his community by being a Police Officer finally retiring after 25 years on the Philadelphia Police Force. He was a proud member and thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5, the Knights of Columbus, St. Joan of Arc Catholic Parish and the Polish American String Band. Jack is survived by his loving spouse of 57 years, Sandee; his sister, Eileen Denton; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends. Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3801 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85032 with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am. Committal Service with Military Honors will follow at 1:00 pm at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jack’s honor may be made to the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church or Knights of Columbus Council #14357, at 3801 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85032.
