John Harvey Snyder, Jr, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of October 27, 2010 at his residence in Peoria, Arizona. John was born April 30, 1929 to John and Beulah Snyder in Cumberland, Maryland. After completing his service to his country in the United States Army, he took up the carpentry trade working with others in the construction of commercial property. John had made his home in the Peoria area for the last 20 years. He is survived by his adored wife of 55 years Margaret Alberta Snyder; his devoted children, Diana Marie Grimes of Crossville, Tennessee, Donna Mae Duggins, of Glendale, Arizona and James Leroy Snyder, of Las Vegas, Nevada; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, October 29, 2010 at 9:00 AM at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, Arizona with services beginning at 10:00 AM and burial following, with Military Honors, at Phoenix Memorial Park.
