Julie was the love of Joe's  life. He cherished her and their time together. A big time Yankees fan, I enjoyed talking to him about Luis Gonzalez and " the hit". I knew Julie  and I'm glad I got to spend a little time with Joe. Perhaps they're together again.

Joey - you and Jules were such wonderful friends to me.  You both will be in my heart forever.  I have great memories of our friendship, of laughter,of shared stories, of just sharing time together - all priceless.  I miss you both so much.. but I know you are "lovin every minute" of where you are now.  Together with each other!

It was so nice to get to know you through Julie.  She was such an important part of this firm and you were such an Important part of her life. Together you made the world a little brighter for all of us who had an opportunity to meet you.   Our best to your family.

Joey, I think about you and Julie all the time and how much I miss you both. I miss doing dinner and dancing and helping Julie with her Halloween costumes. I'm glad that you are both at peace and together once again. You shall remain forever in my heart.

Joe and I grew up together in Howard Beach.  We joined the Army together in 1963 with our buddies Mike, Vinnie and Brian.  We have kept in touch and had many reunions.  We had our 50th reunion in Clearwater, Fl. in April.  Joey got to see a Yankee's Spring training game. He had a great time.  Now, Joe will be rooting for the Yankees with  the best seat in the house. Rest in Peace my friend.  Love you, Ron and Helen Williams

I am so glad I got to know Joey. His love of life, his love for his wife, and his love for his children (and let's not forget his love of the Yankees) defined his life. These are things we should all try to  integrate into our own lives. His stories about Julie and his family always made me smile, or sometimes laugh out loud.

When I first met Julie and Joey, I was sure they were newlyweds. They treated each other with such kindness and greeted each other with such warmth. I was shocked to hear they had been married for so long. But, as Joey would say, Julie never lost that "new wife" smell. I can see the smile on Joey's face as he would say it!

 I am sorry Joey is gone but I am glad that he and Julie are together again.

  Joey will always be part of my favorite memories and he, and his family, are in my prayers.
