

Joyce Yvonnie Bradley was born on August 15, 1936 in Houston, Texas to Della Mosby-Bradley and Dan Bradley. She loved to smile, laugh and have a positive attitude. "Making the best of it", was her motto.
She moved to Phoenix, Ariz. when she was 18 years old and worked as a domestic caregiver until she entered motherhood. She was very active in the community, she served as an election day poll worker for many years and, for over a decade, she was a prayer partner for the Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN).
Joyce enjoyed taking care of her family and friends; she loved a full house. She was the matriarch to five children: 3 daughters, JaCynthia Smith-DeLeon, Sheylah Hill-Taylor, Anndeitra Hill- Akinosho; and 2 sons, Bryant Long and James Hill (1973-1993); 10 grandchildren, Ayana Singhateh, Keanna Singhateh-Taylor, Ja’mes Hill, Sequoia “Co Co”, James Hill Jr, Kyndrah Raskin, Tunde “Ricky” Akinosho, Kynyah Taylor, Paris Taylor, Cody Taylor, and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was the second oldest of seven children and is survived by sisters, Gladys Mitchell, Lynda Bradley-Ray, Myrtle Bradley; and brother, Robert Bradley.
Joyce was an angel to everybody she encountered and on August 27, 2016, she was given her wings to rest in paradise with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way throughout her life.
