Juanita Ann Andrus Parker passed away peacefully on April 21st, 2026, in Peoria, Arizona, at the age of 88. She was born on March 5th, 1938, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Silas E. Thomson and Juanita A. Thomson. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Heber J Andrus and James Kenneth Parker, and leaves behind a remarkable family legacy, including nine children, four stepchildren, a foster son, 46 grandchildren, and 51 great-grandchildren.
Juanita lived a life centered on faith and family. Her greatest joy was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a special spot in her heart for her grandchildren and made them feel uniquely loved. They all wanted to spend time at Grandma’s house, and each one thought they were her favorite.
As a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Juanita was a woman of deep and abiding faith. She loved the Savior and demonstrated that love through a lifetime of service. She was known for her quiet compassion—caring for the sick, supporting those in need, and showing sincere concern for everyone around her.
Her home was always open to others, offering refuge, comfort, and belonging to those who needed help or a place to stay. Juanita served faithfully in many church callings over the years, including work in the Temple, Relief Society, Young Women’s organization, and Primary.
Juanita was a woman of many talents – she loved dancing, playing the violin, and was a gifted teacher, storyteller, and an amazing crafter. Above all, she will be remembered for her selfless kindness and her unwavering commitment to serving others. She exemplified true charity: always loving, never judging, and endlessly forgiving.
