

She was born Sept 7, 1915 in Jefferson Iowa, the daughter of Glenn and Tillie Greiner Ashmore. She moved to Phoenix Arizona in 1978. She attended Jefferson Iowa High School and graduated from Drakes University, DesMoines, Iowa. She held positions as Deputy County Treasure of Greene County, Iowa and as a grade school teacher in Jefferson, Iowa and as a substitute teacher in Phoenix Arizona.
She was a church organist for many years in Jefferson and Phoenix. She was a former member of National TTT Society, The Teachers International Delta Kappa Gamma Society, NCC Music Club, and Signa Lambda Phi.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Wm Thompson and a grandchild Dianna M Thompson, two brothers Islo D Ashmore and Eldon G Ashmore of Oklahoma City OK. She is survived by her son Robert Glenn Thompson and wife Deanna of Lake Montezuma, AZ, a daughter Linda Kay Jackson of Phoenix, four grandchildren, Robert Wm Jackson of Scottsdale, Jeff Scott Jackson and Nicolle Lind Jackson of Phoenix, Roberta Kae Jerome and husband Tim of Flagstaff, AZ and one Great Grandson Robert Connor Jackson Nall of Grand Rapids, Michigan and many Nieces.
