Kenneth Cloyce Sanders

Kenneth was born in Hillsdale, MI in 1946 to parent Carl and Bertha Sanders. He met his wife, Betty Richardson at a dance on New Year’s Eve in 1969, and one year later they were married. In 1973 Betty gave birth to their first child, a girl named Jessie. In 1976, the small family moved to Phoenix, AZ, and 5 years later a second baby girl was born. Her name is Tracy. Kenneth leaves behind his wife Betty and two daughters with his passing.

He was a family man through and through, always doing his best to take care of his small family when times were hard. Kenneth held many jobs throughout his lifetime, but none as significant as being a father and husband. He was also a grandfather and great-grandfather, affectionately known as Pappa K to most of the grandchildren.

He loved to fish, go for walks and ride his bike. He loved to talk for long periods of time with good friends. He liked to hunt, though never getting a lot of chances to do so. He loved to help people in need, even though we were often times struggling ourselves. His pleasures were simple. He liked to color in patterns on posters, and collect small toy cars and trucks…but mostly it was family that made him the happiest, especially his grandchildren. Kenneth will be missed dearly by everyone whose lives he touched.
