

He is predeceased by both parents.
He grew up Loves Park, Illinois.
Ken joined the US Air Force after graduating from high school. He served four years in England with missions in Africa.
Ken was an accomplished aircraft mechanic earning multiple certificates and awards. He often stated he wished he had stayed in the service.
In 1967 he married Nancy Karberg of Galena, Illinois.
They later divorced but remained lifelong friends.
They had two children David and Julie.
Ken continued to work in the aircraft industry in California and Phoenix, Arizona.
He was interested in all kinds of aircraft and cars. Going to many shows and events. He collected clocks, knives of all sizes, guns real and pretend.
Ken had an eccentric mind set when it came to toys. Filling multiple boxes with toys and figures of any vehicle, animals, cartoon characters of unusual stuffed animals including a box of anything “Grinch.”
He is survived by children David Timm (Valerie) and Julie Geering (James); sister Barbara Peterson of Rockford, Illinois; brother James Timm (Linda) of Portage, Michigan; grandchildren Emily Phillips (Millie), Hunter Geering and Jacob Geering; and several nieces and nephews.
He will be interred at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
