May you all find peace in your hearts, in time.  The love of a mother will be with you forever. God Bless you all during this terrible time of great loss, that you have experienced the last six months.

For instance, we know that when these bodies of ours are taken down like tents and folded away, they will be replaced by resurrection bodies in heaven.--God made, not hand made--and we'll never have to relocate our "tents" again. Sometimes we can hardly wait to move--and so we cry out in frustration. Compared to what's coming, living conditions around here seem like a stop over in an unfinished shack, and we're tired of it! We've been given a glimpse of the real thing, our true home, our resurrection bodies! The Spirit of God whets our appetite by giving us  a taste of what's ahead.  He puts a little of heaven in our hearts so that we'll never settle for less.  That's why we live with such good cheer.  You won't see us drooping our heads or dragging our feet! Cramped conditions here don't get us down.  They only remind us of the spacious living conditions ahead.  It's what we trust in but don't see that keeps us going. Do you suppose a few ruts in the path are going to stop us? When the time comes, we'll be plenty ready to exchange exile for homecoming.

Jill, I celebrate your entrance into the kingdom of God!

I worked with Jill many years ago, she was bright and conscientious, a very good employee. She took care of my daughter when I was between caregivers and was always willing to babysit.  My daughter loved playing with Jill's girls. Craig built or fixed a lot of things around my first house.  Over the years, we would catch glimpses of each other at bank events.  And Jill was always the same, youthful, cheerful, full of pride in her daughters.  What a loss for your family, I am so very sorry that Jill lived such a short life.  But it was a full life and she was a great spirit.  Descanse en paz...

We are what I call "the Sebring Faction" over here in central Florida (Sue McCormick's sister Dr Joni Jones, DPM, et al). We send our deepest condolences in this time of loss and transition. May the peace that passeth understanding descend upon all those whom were fortunate enough to have been touched by Jill and Craig as we have been through the years. We commend and thank you for such a lovely remembrance.

I am Jill's mom-in-law, sue Mccormick, her service was beautiful, thx to her Mom Angie who did her picture, flowers, it was so awewsome, very Hawaiian - Jill LOVED Hawaii and eventually wants her and craig's ashes sprinkled on the N. shore, their favorite place there.  she was always a wonderful, kind, supportive daughter-in-law to me, with me in a family of all MEN, she was encouraging and supportive always, helping me stand up for myself and respect myself as a woman, wife and mother.  I miss her more than any words could ever expess - she was the toughtest fighter of that terrible insidious disease cancer I have EVER MET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Totally non complaining no matter what she was enduring, she was matter of fact about whatever she needed to do right up to the end.  what an inspiration to us all!!!!  You were a daughter to me for nearly 30 yrs., thank you for your loving support, care of Craig,and support thru all his projects:  woodworking; building kayaks, going kayaking; restoring vintage travel trailers, scootering.  all of it, you were always there and a part of it and supportive.  I find it very hard to believe you and Craig are gone from this world but have comfort knowing you are together.

Although I wasn't close to Jill at the end, I knew her since Kindergarden at Madison Park. I'm glad I was able to reconnect with her at the last reunion. She remains in my heart as a soft-spoken, positive person who was almost ALWAYS smiling. God bless your family, Jill, as you have now received the ultimate gift of eternal life with our Lord and Savior.

Jill was one of the sweetest people I knew . . . may her contributions to this world not be forgotten.  I am so glad I got to see her at our high school reunion.  Her family is in my prayers!

Rarely do you meet a person with such a beautiful spirit, inner peace and quick smile. This world is a much a better place because she was in it. Rest in Peace, Jill, and please give Craig a big hug for us.

Jill was such a wonderful person and such a fighter.  So glad I got to reconnect with her a few years ago....still the sweet girl I knew in grade school.  What an inspiration you are!  You will be truly missed by all who knew you.

Little Jill Melton - had the strength of a saint.  May she be at rest with her loved ones and watch over her children. I have had the privildge of knowing Jill for most of my life. Hey Jill. We lived two doors apart next to Madison Park. In the summertime we closed Madison Park Pool. They had to run us out. I have nothing but wonderful memories. You were a real doll...

My dear "daughter" Jill,  You were a wonderful daughter in law to me for nearly 30 yrs.  You were so generous in sharing my granddaughters w/me whenever they or I wanted to be together!!  I will be forever grateful for that!!  the funnest times we had racing up to our Prescott cabin if we heard it just "might" snow - and it always did.  the time we got stuck at midnight at the bottom of the driveway, and had to leave the car down there and slog up thru huge snowdrifts.  the sledding, building snowmen, snowball fights, roasting S'mores in the fireplace.  Perusing the antique shops, going to the 4th of July parades and Christmas parades around the Prescott courthouse - the best times of my life!!!  what memories.  the fun we had -- us against Ken and Craig, but all in fun!!  You let us take the girls to Michigan one summer, then flew in to meet us and we all spent the week together at Suttons bay w/our dear friends the Juntunens and their grandkids, hunting for frogs after dark, visiting the TALL SHIP, climbing SLEEPING BEAR DUNES, picking RASPBERRIES, SWIMMING IN LK MICHIGAN, RIDING THE SEA-DOS, such fantastic fun and family time together.  Having big bonfires in your back yard in Chandler for birthdays, graduations, etc.  You helped me in so many ways my dear Jill, with your constant caring and support.  I love and miss you more than I can ever put into words.  So very much love,  your other Mom,  Sue
