He was a graduate of Bellaire High School, Class of 1956 and retired from the Kroger Co before moving to Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and their wives, Bob and Dorothy Gilbert, Dick and Jean Gilbert, Jack and Lill Gilbert; mother in law Violet Taylor and infant son Lee Allen.
He is survived by his wife Judy Gilbert, son Larry Jr. and daughter Sue Ann, all of Arizona, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
No public service per his request.
