He was born in Danville, Illinois, on July 18, 1953. Larry graduated from Danville High School and received a bachelor's degree in business from Eastern Illinois University.
He was married to Sharon Lynn on January 17, 1975.
He worked in business for Liberty Mutual, was a member of the Freemasons, and had a passion for football, his family and dog training.
He was survived by children Jennifer, Pamela, Kimberly, Doug and their spouses that he loved as children; grandchildren Gibson, Gwen, Olivia and Pepper; sister Ellen and brother David; as well as several nieces and nephews.
