Liam Joseph Vanest

Liam Joseph Vanest, 19, passed away August 8, 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona. Liam was born March 7, 1992 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Guy and Maureen (Flannery) Vanest. Liam was currently enrolled in college and enjoyed his educational career; he was also involved and loved working in social services.

He was preceded in death by grandparents John and Teresa Flannery and Joe and Madaline Wyant, his uncle’s Johnny Flannery Jr. and Ken Brice and cousin Seán Brice.

Liam is survived by his parents Guy and Maureen; siblings Deklan, Eamon, Siobhan and Seamus; aunt and uncle Teresa and Vincent Bevilacqua and cousins Little Teresa and Little Vincent Bevilacqua; aunt Nina Flannery-Brice and cousin Sinéad Brice; uncle Jim Vanest; aunt and uncle Jo-Leen and Dan Kuhn, cousin Kenny Adams; and aunt Cindi Kemper and cousins Elizabeth and Brandon Williamson and Breanna and Kammi Kemper. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary at Carr-Tenney Mortuary, 2621 S. Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Simon and Jude Cathedral, 6351 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona. Committal Service will follow at Saint Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 49th Street, Phoenix, Arizona.
