Lorraine Judith Murray

68, passed away October 16, 2011 at John C. Lincoln Hospital, NM to be rejoined once again with her parents Ernest P. Hery and Helen A. (Ford) Hery, and the love of her life Alan E. Murray who proceeded her in 1997. She is survived by her Daughters Donna E. Bennett, Monica M. Noall and son in law John Noall. Sisters Donna J. (Richard) Herlihy, of North Weymouth MA and Deborah L. (Tom) Tucker of Glendale. Also surviving are her beloved nephews Darren M. (Cher) Dauch, Christopher B. Dauch, Richard (Donna L.) Herlihy Jr. and Brian (Lisa) Herlihy and their combined 13 Children and 1 grandchild all of whom she utterly adored. Born in NY, in the Borough of Manhattan on February 18, 1943 she has been a resident of Arizona for nearly 17 years. She was always hard working and very generous in everyway. Especially with love. She made friends wherever she would go. Having raised two children on her own, with her cleverness and creativity she had a knack for making everything better. Having been strong enough to survive serious illness 12 years ago she was a living, breathing miracle. We would tease her that Jesus was afraid she would redecorate. With heavy hearts, we realize that the time has come when he needs her magic touch in Paradise. We are all grateful for that extra time with her. She will be greatly missed. She was a life long contributor to Saint Jude’s Hospital as well as the Muscular Dystrophy Association and will now be a special angel for her “babies” there and their families. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Helen’s Church in Glendale, AZ at 8:30 AM on Friday October 21, 2011.
