Lyle Elmer Riley

Lyle Elmer Riley, age 88, of Phoenix, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019 at his residence. He was born on July 23, 1931 in Montana. Lyle attended Douglas High School in Douglas, Alaska graduating class of 1949; then furthered his education obtaining a BA in 1954 at Washington State University. He proudly served in the US Army Signal Corps from 1955 – 1957. Lyle later obtained his MA in 1964 from Arizona State University. He taught in the Cartwright School District from 1960 thru 1988. Lyle was a longtime member of the Westside Civitan Club and Encanto Community Church UCC. He loved his family and friends dearly. Survivors include his nieces Kelly Gibason and Shelly Osborn and their families. At his request, no services will be held.
