Lynn was born July 1, 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona to Clyde and Rosemary Jeffress and is the eldest of their three children. She is survived by her son, Michael Pere and daughter, Danielle Pere as well as her brother, Alan Jeffress, her sister Andra Jeffress, three nieces and one nephew.
Lynn was married to John Pere who passed away in 1993. Lynn had a Masters degree in education and taught art to students with learning difficulties. She could paint, draw, and sculpt with remarkable skill and her artwork adorns many of the walls in our family’s home. She was a devoted mother who left the workforce to raise her children and ensure they had every opportunity available to them to succeed in life. Lynn was a dog lover who enriched her families' lives by adopting many dogs over the years. She deeply enjoyed watching television shows like Downtown Abbey and I Love Lucy. Lynn was a devoted Christian who would spend time praying for her children and others and would always remind everyone of the healing power of faith. Her faith gave her a compassion and strong empathy for those less fortunate and she was generous with her time and resources to help others in need.
A Celebration of Life will be held 12/29/18 at 3:00pm at Shepherd of the Valley Church, 1500 W Maryland Ave, PHX 85015.
