

Mickey was born on October 30 in Pasadena, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Colorado Technical University in 1988. A lifelong learner and dedicated professional, Mickey became a certified Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist in 2009 and built a successful career in the GIS field. In 2021, he also earned his Realtor’s license, adding another chapter to his professional journey.
Mickey had many passions in life. He was a talented guitar player who found joy playing in numerous bands over the years. He loved the outdoors—especially kayaking and hiking—and was a devoted fan of Star Trek, drawn to its vision of exploration and hope.
Mickey is survived by his wife, Sue King, whom he married in October 2024, and by his two beloved daughters, Audrey and Lauren Campbell, of Palmer Lake, Colorado. He is also survived by his mother, Betty Campbell; his sister, Bambi Teaff; and his brother, Trey Campbell.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Eugene Campbell, and his brother, Allen Campbell.
Mickey will be remembered for his kind heart, his love of music and nature, and his generous spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
