

Margaret (Carol) Wood, 85, of Prescott, Arizona passed away peacefully on March 9, 2020 due to complications from vascular dementia. She was born to parents William and Margaret Eads, on September 23, 1934 in Everett, Washington and raised by her beloved grandmother who preceded her in death.
Carol worked for Motorola before retiring early to care for the husband and children she cherished so deeply. Her home was filled with photographs of her family and the beautiful kachinas which she collected. She loved working with stained glass and quilting and was incredibly talented. She was active in the Shriners Ladies of the Nile for many years and served on the board.
Carol met the love of her life Leonard Wood Sr. and the two were married on June 30, 1955 in Phoenix, AZ. During their sixty-four years together, they raised two children: Michelle Glynn, and Leonard Jr. The family was blessed with Michelle’s marriage to Rex Glynn which enriched her life with the addition of a granddaughter Jennifer Vollmert and a great-granddaughter Elizabeth.
The family has entrusted Dignity Memorial with the arrangements. A graveside ceremony is scheduled for March 21, 2020 at 11:00 am at 200 West Beardsley Phoenix, AZ.
