Maria del Rosario Mejia Jacobo

Charo was born in 1978 in Tepic, Nayarit. In 1998, she chose to bring her family to Tucson, Arizona for better opportunities. Charo was the oldest of 3, a supporting aunt to many nieces and nephews, and hero to her 3 grandchildren.

Family was everything and she opened her doors to all that needed warmth and love. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, and loved to host gathering with family and friends that resulted in great memories. Another joy was having a house full of kids that she helped raise. She was Nana Charo to many. Maria “Charis” Mejia was survived by her husband Juan Carlos and children Kevin (Itzel), Julia (Cresencio), Jayden, grandchildren, brother, sister, mom, dad and many more loved ones. Although she leaves many behind many, she will always be in their hearts and minds for the rest of their lives.

A visitation and funeral service for Maria del Rosario will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Greenwood/Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 North 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009.

Maria De Rosario Mejía Jacobo, una amorosa madre de 3 hijos, una esposa adoradora de su marido, falleció en paz el viernes 10 de febrero de 2023 a la edad de 44 años.

Charo nació en 1978 en Tepic, Nayarit. En 1998, decidió traer a su familia a Tucson, Arizona para tener mejores oportunidades. Charo era la mayor de 3, una tía solidaria de muchas sobrinas y sobrinos y una heroína de sus 3 nietos.

La familia lo era todo y ella abrió sus puertas a todo lo que necesitaba calidez y amor. Charo disfrutó de los simples placeres de la vida, le encantaba organizar reuniones con familiares y amigos que dieron como resultado grandes recuerdos. Otr alegria de su vida fue tener una casa llena de niños que ayudó a criar. Era Nana Charo para muchos. A María "Charis" Mejía le sobrevivieron su marido Juan Carlos y sus hijos Kevin(Itzel), Julia(Cresencio), Jayden, nietos, hermano, hermana, madre, papá y muchos más seres queridos. Aunque deja muchos atrás, siempre estará en sus corazones y mentes por el resto de sus vidas.

El martes 21 de febrero de 2023 de 1:00 p. m. a 5:00 p. m. en Greenwood/Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 North 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009, se llevará a cabo un velorio y funeral por María del Rosario.
