Maria Petra Torres

Petra is survived by her daughter, Annette Torres Morales; sons, Marcos Jr, Charles Sr, and Michael Torres Sr, all of Phoenix.

Grandchildren, Briana Rubio, Gabriel and John-Paul Solarez, Mark, Angel, Alize, Michael Jr, Ariel, Anthony, Charles Jr, and Charlene Torres;

Great grandchildren, Angelisa and Manny Rodriguez, Elaina and Larissa Rubio, Mark Leo, Nalani, and King Torres, Elijah Torres Martinez;

Great-great grandchild, Isaac Figueroa;

Sisters, Mary Murrietta, Rosie Martinez, Tina Salazar, and Laura Lujan;

Brother, Felix Sosa.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Marcos L. Torres Sr; father Basilio Sosa, and mother, Carmen Sosa; brother Frank Sosa; sisters, Dolores Corea and Socorro Carrillo.

A wake will be on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Memory Lawn Serenity Chapel, 2300 W Van Buren St, Phoenix. Pastor Tony Garcia is officiating 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Final resting place will be at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery.

Celebration of Life will follow at VFW 4853 E. Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018.

Pallbearers are Michael Jr and Anthony Torres, John-Paul Solarez, Manny Rodriguez, Richard Morales, Gilbert Rubio, Greg Corea, and Donald Murrietta; Honorary pallbearers are Joseph Anaya and Richard Esperanza.
