

She was born on May 1, 1941, and leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and unwavering dedication to her family and community.
Marjorie was a woman of many talents and passions. She graduated from Scottsdale High School in 1959 and embarked on a journey of hard work and dedication. Over the years, she held various roles; she worked diligently as an Apartment Manager for over a decade, a year as a travel agent, and as the proprietor of Maurer’s Lawn and Landscaping for over 40 years. Additionally, she found fulfillment as a devoted homemaker, nurturing her family with love and care.
Her commitment to her faith was evident in her active involvement in several churches throughout her life. Marjorie was a cherished member of the 12th Street Church of Christ, Camelback Church of Christ, Northeast Church of Christ, Saguaro Christian Church, Lincoln Heights Christian Church, and Stone Creek Christian Church. She served as a leader in several prayer groups, cherished her roles as an Elder daughter and deacon wife. Marjorie found joy in music of all genres and shared her passion for gardening and playing Pinochle card games with her closest friends.
Marjorie is survived by her children Craig Maurer (Kathi Maurer), Kevin Maurer, MaryEllen Mullins (shawn Mullins), and Christopher Maurer. As well as her loving grandchildren: Erik Maurer (Lauren Maurer), Amy Lewis (Coby Lewis), Brian Maurer (Dan Hoffman), Jessica Maurer (Jacob Gonzales), Matthew Maurer (Cameron Maurer), Brittni Toporek (Mike Toporek), Rachel Creech (Patrick Creech), Aaron Mullins (Sorscha Mullins), Joseph Maurer, Dominic Maurer, and Zivah Maurer. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Luna Lewis, Autumn Lewis, Robin Lewis, Amelia Gonzales, Aiden Creech, and Alice Mullins.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, 10:00 AM at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, followed by a memorial service at 10:30 AM. A reception to celebrate Marjorie's life will take place from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
