

Martha (Monika) Ululani Kormos, 79, of Phoenix, AZ sadly passed away on January 20, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. Martha was born to Henry and Christina Kila on September 1st, 1944. She was the eldest of ten children. After earning her GED she moved from Kauai, HI to the mainland where she would spend the remainder of her life.
Martha was a self employed woman. She ran a long time successful business with dozens of loyal worldly clients. She took pride and found tremendous joy in caring for others in her domestic home services. Martha always paid attention to the smallest of details. She knew how to make everyone feel loved and included. Whether it was crafts, sewing, gardening, or traveling everything she did was special and unique to her. She always added her little touch to every birthday card, holiday and get together. She will be remembered as the matriarch of her family.
She leaves behind a devoted and loving significant other of 30 years, Larry Brion and his whole family. As well as her children Zoltan (Susan) Kormos, and Leilani Huerta, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
All of those she loved and touched deeply. Please join us in honoring her life Saturday morning February 3, 2024, between 11:00 am - 1 pm at the Serenity Chapel located at the northside of Greenwood Memory Lawn, 719 N. 27th Ave Phoenix, AZ 85009 followed by a burial service from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm. The family would appreciate fresh flowers as Martha adored their beauty and fragrance.
