

Mary “Anna” Horton passed away on February 13, 2022. She was born on February 17, 1939 to Clarence and Loreen (Harlow) Walls in Memphis, Tennessee. She was the 9th of 11 children. She graduated from Memphis Tech High School in 1957.
She married Lloyd Allen Horton on February 14, 1958 and moved to Arizona in 1961. They had five children: Lori (Jim) Post, Lisa, Kevin, Stephanie, and Stephen, 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Margie Pollard and Carole (Jim) Worthington, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, her granddaughter Charlene, and grandson Jesse.
Anna was an avid church goer, reader, and soap opera watcher. She was interested in genealogy and loved watching Wheel Of Fortune. She is fondly remembered as always being late, her stuffing on Thanksgiving, and her spaghetti sauce. She was a stay at home mom but worked a few jobs as a telephone operator and in retail. Donations can be made in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.
