Matthew Aaron Heard

Matthew Aaron Heard, 46, passed away at John C Lincoln hospital in Phoenix after injuries from a fatal car accident on Easter morning, April 9th, 2023. Matthew is survived by his loving wife (Jessica), their amazing son (Tristan), his mother (Junella), and six siblings (Adam, Tracy, Deandra, Todd, Kelly, and Carmen), and many more adoring family members and friends.

Matthew is a loving and devoted father, husband, son, brother, and friend to all who crossed his path in this life. He enjoyed spending time with his wife of 15 years and their 6 year old son. Matthew was a huge movie buff and even named their son after his favorite movie. He lived up to his nickname 'big homie' by bringing energy and joy to all of those around him. He had a smile and hug that could lift your spirit, a generous heart, and a contagious laugh. He was an amazingly gifted chef who loved to please everyone with his delicious food. He touched everyone that he crossed paths with and everyone always wanted to tell him their life story. The world lost a big personality and there will forever be a big hole in our hearts.

Jessica will be hosting a private Celebration of Life for Matthew on his birthday, May 7th. The event details are private and will be shared out to those closest to the family.

We love you, Matthew. I promise every day to tell Tristan that you love him. We miss you forever.
